 About INKED EXPRESSIONS

The Montgomery Ink Series from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan continues with the brother who keeps his secret and the one woman he shouldn’t want.

Everly Law married the love of her life and on the eve of giving birth to their twins, lost him in a tragic accident. Now she’s a single mother working overtime at her bookstore trying to make sure her boys have the life they deserve. Her life is busy enough without her adding dating a Montgomery. As past secrets come to light, she’ll need Storm more than ever—even if she doesn’t realize it.

Storm Montgomery has spent his life atoning for sins that only few know he’s committed. When he lost his best friend, he promised his widow that he’d always be there for her—even when she wanted nothing to do with him. But when a single touch ignites passions they’ve both buried deep inside, he’ll have to remember exactly who is in his arms and that taking chances might be far more dangerous than they bargained for.

My 5 Star Feels

If all of Carrie Ann Ryan novels are like this one then she just turned into another One Click Buy author for me. She hit all the romance read wish list items!

Inked Expression is a story that deals with loss, want, betrayal and mystery and all at a quick pace that keeps you hooked and doesn’t have a dull moment.

Everly Law is dealing with life without her husband, who died the day their twin boys are born. But her deceased husband’s best friend has always been there to look out for her and his friends family. Making sure she knows she’s never alone.

What started out as an innocent relationship eventually turned into a romance and attraction that neither one of them could deny. And when secrets are revealed they are there to help each other through the craziness and confusion that has just turned both their worlds upside down.

Storm Montgomery is your all around good guy who is caring the guilt of something that he had no control over, but still keeps himself locked up in his own self emotional prison. He’s an all around good guy who will stop at nothing to make sure that Everly and her boys are always taken care of. And once he has her heart, there’s no way he’s going to let it go.

Ms Ryan has given us a read that starts off with a bang and doesn’t let up till the very last page. You are immediately drawn to and rooting for our two main characters and want them get their HEA. Your heart breaks as a parent for Everly and what she has to go through and a widow and mother. You want to hug Storm and tell him that he’s a good guy and that what happened was not his fault. You’ll even want to smack quite a few villains and shake some humanity into them.

All in all this is a solid romance read that I’m sure I’ll come back to again and again.
